• What type of transport is used on the day tour?

    All our day tour coaches are touring specification luxury coaches. Aran Island Ferries operate a fleet of luxury purpose built ferries.
  • What transport is available on the islands?

    Bicycle Hire: Bikes are the most popular form of transport for visitors to the islands, and allow you to travel at your own pace, on your own route. Bicycle Hire is available on arrival at the pier. Route maps are also available. Pony and Trap: This is the traditional means of transport on the islands, and can be hired at the pier. The jarveys ('drivers') are friendly locals who will ably guide your tour around the island. Mini Bus Tour: The mini bus tours bring you around the island to all the attractions. The tour guides are island natives and are full of information and good humour
  • What is the sailing time to the islands from Ros a Mhíl?

    The sailing time to Inis Mór is 40 minutes. The sailing time to Inis Meáin is 45 minutes. The sailing time to Inis Oirr is 55 minutes.
  • Is it possible to visit all three islands on the day tour?

    Time dictates that only one island can be visited on your day tour. The choice is yours. You'll be very welcome to come back to visit the others!
  • Can I stay overnight on the islands and return to Dublin the following evening?

    Yes. When booking your tour please enter your Return Date on the booking form. Accommodation is available on all the islands.
  • Can I pay on board the coach?

    Yes, but to guarantee availability we really advise advance booking.
  • Will I get a refund if I cancel my booking?

    Cancellation up to 48 hours before tour date: 15% administration fees will be charged. Cancellation less than 48 hours before tour date / No Shows: 100% of total price will be charged.
